ظننت في سن ال ٦٢ انني لم اعد استحق الحلم. ظننت انني وصلت الى نهاية الامل والطموح والفرح وبداية الاكتئاب والتقوقع والتلاشي. الى ان ايقظت قدرة إلهية الحلم في داخلي فخرجت من عزلتي الى عالم الابداع وادركت ان كل حياتي وسنينها كانت تحضيرا لهذه المغامرة الجديدة المثيرة. وهكذا آمنت بسحر البدايات وتلقفتها وعرفت ان هذا السحر تأخر بضعة عقود فقط ليكون فعله أكبر. الآن بت اعرف انه كلما تقدم السن كبر الحلم وهنيئا لمن يترافق عمره وحلمه جنبا إلى جنب.

At 62, I thought I no longer deserved to dream. I thought this was the end of hope, ambition and joy, and the start of depression and desolation. But, a divine intervention awoke the dream within me and brought me out of my isolation anbd into the world of creation. I realized that my past was only the preparation for this glorious new adventure. I believed again in the magic of beginnings and embraced mine. I was certain that this magic was a few decades late only to be more potent. Now I know that the older one grows, the greater their dream becomes. Blessed are they whose age and dream walk hand in hand.
